Designed by - Emma Brace
Inspired by visible darning and mending techniques, particularly the work of Celia Pym and Hikaru Noguchi whose classes, haberdashery, work, and books are all at Loop, Emma Brace created these socks.
We love their 'mock' darned aesthetic as much as the sentiment behind the design. The pattern uses small amounts of threads incorporated into the knitted fabric for something truly unique and beautiful. If you don't have enough scrap yarn, or you want to create a colour palette of your own, we also have a wonderful that would be great for this pattern and a vast collection of .
